Who We Are

Old Crane Gateway is a brand of Old Crane Global FZCO, a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. All client contracts and engagements are with Old Crane Global FZCO.

1. Scope of Services (Advisory Only)

1.1  Old Crane Gateway provides strategic advisory on company formation, licensing, banking readiness, operational compliance (including VAT, corporate tax, and AML-related procedures), residency-visa facilitation, and cross-border operations.

1.2  We assist clients with residency-visa procedures connected to their company formation, including documentation and submissions through UAE government portals. Final approvals remain at the discretion of the UAE authorities.

1.3  We do not provide legal representation, auditing, or tax-filing services. Where such expertise is required, we may coordinate with licensed third-party professionals on your behalf.

1.4  Any timelines, approvals, or outcomes depend on government or third-party processes. We do not guarantee approvals or timeframes.

2. Engagement and Booking

2.1  Advisory services begin when you book and pay for a session or when a written engagement letter is executed.

2.2  You must ensure that all information and documents you provide are accurate, complete, and up to date. Our advice relies on your inputs.

2.3  You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information and documents you provide. Old Crane Global FZCO shall not be liable for delays, costs, losses, or rejections arising from inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or untimely information supplied by the client or third parties acting on the client’s behalf.

2.4  Scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.

3. AML and KYC Compliance

3.1  What AML/CFT and KYC mean. We conduct Anti-Money-Laundering and Counter-Terrorist-Financing (AML/CFT) due diligence—including Know-Your-Customer (KYC) identity verification—in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. (20) of 2018 and Cabinet Decision No. (10) of 2019.

3.2  KYC information we may request. You agree to provide government ID, proof of address, corporate documents, ultimate beneficial owner details, and source-of-funds/source-of-wealth information, as applicable.

3.3  Screening. We may screen clients and counterparties against international sanctions, PEP, and adverse-media/watchlists as part of risk assessment.

3.4  Our rights. We may decline, suspend, or terminate an engagement if information is incomplete, inaccurate, not timely provided, or if risk findings require it.

3.5  Reporting. Where required by UAE law, we may file suspicious-activity reports to the UAE Financial Intelligence Unit via the goAML platform, without notice to you.

3.6  Registration status. Old Crane Global FZCO is completing registration as a Designated Non-Financial Business and Profession (DNFBP) for AML/CFT compliance; registration details will appear on the Legal Notice page once confirmed.

4. Third-Party Providers

4.1  We may coordinate with third parties such as free zones, banks, government portals, visa agents, accountants, insurers, couriers, or other specialists.

4.2  These parties act independently and are not our agents. We are not responsible for their acts, omissions, decisions, or timelines.

4.3  You contract directly with third parties and remain responsible for their fees and terms.

5. Fees, Payments, and Taxes

5.1 All fees are payable in advance, unless expressly stated otherwise in your engagement confirmation or invoice.

5.2 Payments may be made in AED, USD, EUR, GBP, or other currencies supported by our payment providers (including Stripe, Wio Business, Payoneer, and comparable platforms). All payments and refunds are processed in the same currency used for the original transaction, and any conversion or exchange-rate difference is outside the responsibility of Old Crane Gateway.

5.3 You are responsible for any card fees, bank charges, VAT, corporate tax, or other applicable taxes or levies arising from your jurisdiction.

5.4 Initiating a chargeback without first giving us a reasonable opportunity to resolve an issue constitutes a breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks and to suspend further service until resolution.

6. Professional Standards and Insurance

6.1  We uphold standards of accuracy, confidentiality, discretion, and independence.

6.2  Old Crane Global FZCO maintains professional indemnity insurance in the UAE appropriate to its advisory scope. Confirmation of coverage can be provided to regulators, insurers, or clients under confidentiality where relevant.

7. Confidentiality and Data Protection

7.1  We keep client information confidential and use it only to provide services, meet legal/regulatory obligations, or protect our legitimate interests.

7.2  Personal data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy, which details categories of data, purposes, retention, international transfers, and your rights.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1  All website content, reports, templates, frameworks, and other deliverables are the intellectual property of Old Crane Global FZCO.

8.2  You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use deliverables internally for your business. Reuse, redistribution, or resale without written consent is prohibited.

9. Client Materials and Testimonials

9.1  You warrant that any materials you provide do not infringe third-party rights and that we may use them as necessary to provide services.

9.2  With your written consent, we may reference your company name or testimonial; we never disclose confidential information.

10. Communications and Record-keeping

10.1 You consent to electronic communications (email, client portal, scheduling tools) for booking, engagement, and follow-up.

10.2  We may summarize action items in writing after sessions; implementation remains your responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Booking and Refunds (Summary)

11.1  Key terms (see full Refund Policy for details):

  • Rescheduling window: 24 hours before the scheduled session.

  • No-shows / late cancellations: non-refundable.

  • Packages / retainers: unused advisory time may be rescheduled or credited toward future sessions at our discretion. Monetary refunds are not issued once advisory work has commenced.

  • Government and third-party fees: non-refundable once submitted.

11.2  If an engagement is terminated for compliance reasons (see Section 3), refunds follow the Refund Policy.

11.3  If a scheduled session or engagement is canceled or rescheduled due to circumstances attributable to Old Crane Global FZCO (for example, consultant illness, system failure, or other unavoidable disruption), the client will be offered either a full refund or a rebooking at no additional cost. No compensation or consequential damages shall be owed beyond the amount paid for the affected service.

12. Warranties and Disclaimers

12.1  Services are provided on an “as is” basis without implied warranties of fitness, merchantability, or non-infringement.

12.2  Professional Disclaimer. All information is for strategic advisory purposes and does not constitute legal, tax, or immigration advice. You should seek licensed specialists where appropriate.

13. Limitation of Liability

13.1  Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the service giving rise to the claim within the previous six (6) months.

13.2  We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or goodwill.

13.3  Nothing limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Old Crane Global FZCO, its directors, and employees from any losses or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of our materials.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including government actions, regulatory changes, system outages, natural disasters, labor disputes, or supply-chain disruptions.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

16.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

16.2 Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts, unless an engagement letter specifies arbitration under DIAC Rules seated in Dubai.

16.3 Before initiating proceedings, the parties will attempt good-faith resolution within 30 days of written notice.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The latest version will always appear on this page. Continued use of our site or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
